The Australian Turf Club (ATC) prides itself on being one of the world’s most desirable destinations for thoroughbred racing, events and hospitality.
ATC is a multi-faceted events business spread across four locations throughout Sydney, holding over 150 race day carnivals and non race day events such as conferences, weddings and expos.

Gomeeki’s product team composed of digital strategists, experience designers and technical architects met with individual business units within the ATC to understand their existing challenges and desires with regard to a future state.
Upon a phased strategy of roadmapped initiatives being approved by ATC stakeholders, Gomeeki’s experience design team commenced the process of designing an evidence led customer-centric website, with mobile first thinking at its core.
Within two months of launching the first consumer facing web experience (www.australianturfclub.com.au), the ATC’s traffic reached over 70% of unique visitors from mobile devices, with further iterations and new features released in fortnightly sprints based on an evidence led strategy based around customer insights, analytics and traffic data.
