Gomeeki Wins ‘Best in Class’ for Fantastic Furniture Mobile Site
Gomeeki, a service provider for business mobile marketing, has won the Interactive Media Awards Best in Class Award in the retail category of their Fantastic Furniture mobile site.
The Best in Class award is the highest honour bestowed by the Interactive Media Awards. It represents the very best in planning, execution and overall professionalism.
Chief Executive of Gomeeki, Shaun Dobbin, said “The Interactive Media Awards recognise the highest standards of excellence in website design and development. We are proud the IMA has identified and awarded our high quality work in the mobile sector.”
Fantastic Furniture enlisted the help of Gomeeki to develop a Mobile website to cater for the growing number of mobile browsing customers entering their regular site.
“To help the Fantastic Furniture brand stay ahead of the competitor curve and maximise on current mobile traffic, we were required to deliver a functional and engaging mobile website where visitors could interact with the brand. We have definitely achieved this,” said Mr Dobbin.
In order to win this award level, the site had to successfully pass through the IMA’s comprehensive judging process, achieving very high marks in each judging criteria – an achievement only a fraction of sites in the IMA competition earn each year.
“The judges were very impressed by our ability to transfer the high level of design, usability and content presentation of the main Fantastic Furniture site to the mobile site,” said Mr Dobbin.
“Our ‘Feature Functionality’ and ‘Site Content’ scored a full 100 points while both ‘Usability’ and ‘Design’ scored 95 and over. We are really proud of these results.”
There were 132 entries submitted in the ‘Retail’ category in the 2012 award year with Gomeeki achieving Best in Class with an overall score of 483 out of a possible 500.
